Home & Away Meets
All meets begin at 5:00pm
Home Meets
Plan on arriving around 3:45pm as our warm ups start at 4:00pm.
Home meets are LOTS of fun!
We line the kids up, otherwise known as clerking, at the Windermere tennis courts. Please have your children report to the tennis courts after each swim heat to be lined up for the next event.
The kids take over the tennis courts with tents and towels. They really have a GREAT time!
Away Meets
Plan on arriving about 4:15pm as our warm ups start at 4:30pm.
Away meets are run similar to home meets. There are clerks of course and we have an area where our swimmers can rest and wait for their next event.
Our clerking area is typically smaller at away meets.
Meet Events
6 & Unders
6 & under swimmers always swim their events first, immediately following warm ups.
They swim back, breast, and freestyle.
Older swimmers will be in the water spotting all 6 & under swimmers, as well as an adult volunteer on deck ensuring they get out of the pool safely.
These kids not only keep our young swimmers safe, but they're also their biggest cheerleaders!
Order of Events
100m Individual Medley: 11-12 & 13-14 yr olds
Medley Relays: 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, & 13-14 yr olds
Individual Events by age group, in the order of butterfly, back, breast, and freestyle
All events for 7-8 and 9-10 yr olds are 25 yards.
All events for 11-12 and 13-14 yr olds are 50 yards.
The evening ends with exciting Freestyle Relays!
