Windermere Swim Team! 

We are getting excited for the season - registration will open next Monday, March 27th!

A few items to note for this year:

- practices will start Wed, May 31st

- first dual meet is June 6th, season end invitational is June 29th

- we will be expanding Friday practice to be 9-10:45 to allow for some time trials in addition to fun Friday!

The team is recreational and fun, but we do have league rules that govern the meets for safety and efficiency. A few key items:

- spotters can only be in the water for 6 & unders; swimmers age 7+ will need to be able to swim the length of the pool unassisted to be in a meet

- we have a limit on the number of heats and swimmers we have in each meet event, which will affect some age groups more than others; some swimmers may only get to swim a couple events in the meets (but with the new time trial Fridays, we’ll have more opportunities for swimmers to clock times and see improvements!)

The Hawthorns is joining our league this year so we have a new team and meet location in the mix!
